I am planning to use Tableau to create a timeline for two things: the timeline of the overall research project and the timeline of the Japanese Paper Films creation and the difference between the date of the original live action film release and the circa date of the Japanese Paper Film being created.
My other tool will be Datawrapper, I am planning to use it in order to create a bar chart of the titles of the live action paper films and the number of the copies we have in our collection. That will also help to show which films (we can assume) were more popular than other ones.
My biggest tool withh be storymaps website builder itself – I am planning to make a colorgraded timeline out of the surviving live action films, with the help of it I will demonstrate from which parts of the original film were the paper films made. That will help me with the section where I will talk about what the Paper Films are usually depicting, what was of interest.
I am also planning to embed multiple videos and GIFs, for which I will use a library platform to host the videos there.
